About me

I started playing music when I was a little child. After starting piano lessons at age 5, I became curious about other instruments and took the opportunity at my school to learn the violin when I was 10. A little bit later, through lots of different projects, playing with others and experiences that I will forever be grateful for, I realized that music was what I wanted to spend my life doing, and so I decided to study at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Munich.

Having quite broad interests within music and always having loved the idea of passing on the joy I get from music by teaching, I decided to pursue a music teaching degree. This degree gave me the chance to develop my instrumental and vocal skills, as well as learn how to teach, how to structure and conduct a rehearsal, dive deeper into theory and history of music and pedagogy and gain lots of valuable experience in various genres. When it came to picking an emphasis, I went with Jazz piano first and later switched to Singing because I wanted to develop as a singer and singing teacher.

I would say, when it comes to genre, I see myself at home in Classical Music, Pop and Jazz and love learning from the different approaches.

After my degree, and having taught students for several years now, I still learn something new every day, enjoy practicing myself as well as listening to others and being inspired by other music teachers and musicians. This way I keep my teaching fresh and keep the flame of my own excitement going.

I also enjoy playing at weddings at other events whenever I have the opportunity to, as it puts me into a unique position to add some magic to a special day. What could be better than providing the soundtrack to someone's happy day? One of the things I love is using my experience in different genres to let Your vision of wedding music become a reality.

I am excited to hear from you and have chat about how I might be able to help you fulfil your musical needs and wishes, be that as a teacher or as a musician.
