About me
I started playing music when I was a little child. After starting piano lessons at age 5, I became curious about other instruments and took the opportunity at my school to learn the violin when I was 10. Little by little, through the time I spent playing music and singing, especially with others, I realized that music was what I wanted to spend my life doing, and so I decided to study at the University for Music and Performing Arts in Munich.
Having quite broad interests within music and always having loved the idea of passing on the joy I get from music by teaching, I decided to pursue a music teaching degree. This degree gave me the chance to develop my instrumental and vocal skills, as well as learn how to teach, how to structure and conduct a rehearsal, dive deeper into theory and history of music and how learning works and gain lots of valuable experience in various genres.

Now, my aim is to use all this, as well as several years of teaching and performing experience, to help You have a great experience with music, be that at your wedding, or learning to make music yourself.

If you grant me the honour of providing the music at your wedding, I will make it a high priority to be working together with you to figure out exactly what your vision is for Your special day, to then do everything in my power to make that happen.
I am happy to add songs to my list and make special arrangements, including medleys, specifically to fit what you're looking for. So if you want to walk down the aisle to a medley of the "How to train your dragon" soundtrack and "Love story" in a calm and romantic style, just right for a wedding, that's exactly what you're getting.

In teaching, I believe, one of the most important things for any teacher to pay attention to is what the student needs. We will regularly check in on what your current goals are, to make sure our lessons align with them. I will use my knowledge and experience in teaching music to design a curriculum that works for you and is aimed at helping you achieve the progress you are looking for, all while having fun in the process.
If you would like, we can prepare for exams to give you measurable goalposts in your learning, but that choice is entirely up to You. We will make sure to learn plenty of other things in between, if you do choose to go that route, so things will stay fresh and fun, and you will never have to worry about only working on a few pieces a year, to the level of detail we would apply to exam pieces to get you a result you can be proud of. Ironically, learning other pieces in between will actually make learning exam pieces easier, too, by giving you the skills you need for the next level.
If you are open to this, we can look into music theory (which is really just a fancy word for how music works) and use it to our advantage to make things make sense and to accelerate your progress. This can even open avenues into song-writing and playing by ear, if that is something you are interested in.

I am excited to hear from you and have chat about how I might be able to help you have a great experience with music, whether at your wedding or in lessons.
